At The Ohio State University Newark our highest priority is the safety and security of our students, faculty, staff and community.  The Campus Emergency Broadcast System is designed to quickly communicate information regarding emergency situations and closures on campus.  This system is yet another tool to help our campus be a safe place for everyone we serve.

As a current Ohio State University Newark student or employee, your college email address is already included in the system. However, if you would like to include additional email addresses or add a mobile phone number to receive text emergency alerts, please setup a log in below by typing in your campus email address and clicking the "Create a New Password" button. You will receieve an email with a temporary password. Once you complete the initial registration process you will use your campus email address and the unique password you set to update your information.

In addition, these alerts will also be posted on the Ohio State University Newark Facebook site. Make sure you "Like" our page to see these updates in your news feed.


Enter your campus email and hit "Create a New Password" to register or your campus email and unique password if you already registered (this password may differ from your regular campus email password).
