Grading
Policy: Your final grade in the course will be based on your three
highest examination grades plus your final map grade. The total
number correct on your maps must exceed 95% to earn an “A”, 90% for a
“B” and son on. The grade is given after the U.S. quiz and is equal
to half the valued of an examination, no individual map grades re
given. If after the first three exams you are not happy with your
grade you may elect to take the final (in which case the lowest of the
four grades will be dropped). NO MAKE UP EXAMS WILL BE GIVEN FOR
ANY REASON. In the event you miss an
examination
you will be required to take the final exam. No passing grade
will be issued in the case of academic misconduct.
