The education programs at The Ohio State University at Newark prepare future teachers and support the professional development of current teachers. We deliver full programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, meeting pre-licensure, licensure and post licensure/certification needs.
Our NCATE-accredited licensure programs for Early Childhood, Middle Childhood and Middle Childhood Generalist Endorsement are highly ranked nationally. Additionally, current K-12 educators may choose to pursue a few graduate courses, a Reading or Mathematics Specialist endorsement, and/or the Ohio State Newark K-12 M.A. - individually designed for the grade level and content area of interest.
Announcing a NEW four course ONLINE sequence that will meet the requirements for the new 4th/5th grade endorsement in the State of Ohio. This endorsement is added to an Early Childhood license (pre-K to grade 3).
