Cultivating excellence in students who demonstrate a commitment to academic achievement

Honors Advantages
Small Class Size: Limited to fifteen students, Honors Courses are taught as seminars and many count toward the General Education Curriculum required of all Ohio State graduates.
Priority Scheduling: Honors students are the first to be enrolled in their chosen courses.
Research Opportunities: Honors students may choose to write a Senior Thesis and work with a professor on a research project of their choice.
Laurel Collegiate Society: All Honors and Honors-Eligible students are encouraged to join the Laurel Collegiate Society and participate in field trips, fireside chats with faculty, and other activities.
Impressive College Record: Honors students have an "H" on their transcripts marking every Honors course they take.
Honors Recognitions: In addition to fellowship and scholarship opportunities, outstanding student achievements are recognized each Spring at the OSUN Salute to Undergraduate Achievement Dinner.
