Information & Technology Services
The Help Desk offers technical support services by providing information and troubleshooting technical problems through remote connectivity, over the phone, via e-mail, and in person. These services are limited to the campus community (Students, Faculty and Staff) and campus owned equipment for both The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College at Newark as well as Coshocton, Mount Vernon, and Pataskala. The Help Desk creates an electronic ticket complete with the necessary detail. The ticket is then electronically routed to the appropriate resolver group. The Help Desk continues to monitor the ticket through resolution.
