Once you are admitted to Ohio State you must activate your OSU Internet Username
Account (email) and check your email often!

Honors
The University Honors Program is selective, and you must be invited to participate as an incoming
freshman. All admissions applicantions are reviewed to see if students meet the criteria. Students
admitted into the Honors Program typically:
- Rank in the top 10% of their high school class
- Have a 30+ ACT composite OR
- Have a 1340+ SAT Critical Reading and Math combined score
Students who do not meet the requirements for automatic admission to Honors can seek entry after
they have taken at least 15 college-level credits and earned a 3.4 or better GPA.
Acceptance Fee
Admitted students will receive a $100 acceptance fee statement in the mail. Be sure to
send your payment coupon in by the deadline and in the envelope provided.
Testing, Orientation & Scheduling (TOS)
A confirmation letter about TOS requirements and dates will be sent to your home address. Requests for information,
reminders and any changes will only be sent to your Ohio State email account. Spam filters in personal email accounts
will sometimes pick up our mail. So, make sure your OSU email account is activated ASAP!
