  • Evolution, ecology, and biogeography of Late Cretaceous and Paleogene mammals
  • Field paleontology in the Great Plains: Mammalian survivorship and recovery following the end-Cretaceous extinctions
  • Mammalian teeth: diet reconstruction, large-scale evolutionary patterns, and reciprocal studies of evolution and development
  • Empirical estimates of the completeness of the fossil record
