SPRING POETRY 2012 - Thursday, April 12, 5:30-7:30 pm
To all poets! Hear ye, hear ye! This event is geared up for all poetry types from ABC to Verse - whether you write for your ears only or you're a more seasoned poet. There are two categories: Spoken Word/Haiku and Rainy Day/Rhyming.
This event is for a mature audience and the judges will make decisions based on audience participation. It is single elimination (in each category); contestants with high scores from each round will advance to the next round.
Criteria: Fill out the Registration Form, include your picture and four (4) poems.
Deadline to register is April 9, 2012. We will also have a non-contestant section and we will accept sign-ups at the event.
Prizes: Two 1st place winners-$50.00 gift cards to Chipotle; Two 2nd place winners-$25.00 gift cards to Walmart; and Two 3rd place winners-$15.00 gift cards to Subway.
