The Office of Career Development and Experiential Learning Services is available to assist students and alumni of The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College. The office is located on the second floor of the John L. and Christine Warner Library and Student Center, Room 226. The office provides students and graduates with individualized career planning and consultation with job search strategies, labor market information, a resource library, assistance in preparing quality resumes and cover letters, help in developing effective interviewing skills, information on employers' expectations, and career assessment for undecided students. The Office of Career Development & Experiential Learning Services encourages undecided students to explore their options. No matter where you are in your career development, in order to make informed decisions, you need information about yourself and about the world of work. It will enable you to self-assess your career-relevant personal qualities and explore career fields and areas of study that are most compatible with your assessment results. Career Fair - The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College hosts an annual Career Fair at the Newark campus. The Career Fair is devoted to effectively connecting area employers with well-qualified candidates at a single event.
