The Ohio State University at Newark

The Laurel Collegiate Society

The Laurel Collegiate Society is a student organization open to all Honors and Honors-eligible students (those with a cumulative GPA of 3.4). Students do not need to be in Honors to join. The LCS seeks to foster a sense of community, encourage leadership and service, and expand the intellectual and cultural horizons of high-achieving students. Students who join have the opportunity to participate in the many enriching activities of the LCS, including cultural outings, a spring break trip most years, and service learning opportunities. Members are expected to attend at least two LCS meetings per semester and participate in at least one LCS event per semester.

Contact LCS President Katie Burkhard, Vice President Caitlyn Timpe, or Program Director Virginia Cope for more information.
