Through the years...
Ohio State Newark alumni have a history dating back to 1957 when classes were held in the old Newark High School. Now our alumni attend the largest of Ohio State’s regional campuses. We've come a long way since those early days!
Founders Hall opened in 1968 as the first building on the Newark campus. Over the past 50 years our campus has grown into a well planned campus with 10 buildings, a bell tower and a beautiful amphitheater. This tremendous growth is due, in large part, to the vision and generosity of Ohio State alumni and the community.
We are proud of the rich history and heritage of The Ohio State University and you are part of that heritage— whether you attended classes in the 50’s or just received your degree. Help make a difference here at Ohio State Newark! We invite you to become reconnected. There are many opportunities to volunteer and reconnect with the campus. Be a part of something great!
