Mark Kwasny

Dr. Mark Kwasny received his Masters (1984) and PhD (1989) from The Ohio State University. He has taught at Ohio State Newark since 1992, teaching the American History surveys (2001-2002), and 9 upper level classes: Anglo-America to 1763 (3010), the American Revolution (3011), Tudor and Stuart Britain (3246), 18th-19th Century England (3260), the History of War (2550), Wars of Empire (3590), World War II (3570), Comparative Revolutions (3675), and the Vietnam War (3580).

In addition to the book, Washington’s Partisan War, 1775-1783, he has several essays on colonial and revolutionary America published, including the Encyclopedia of the Midwest and Encyclopedia of the New American Nation. He was a member of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers in 2000, and received Ohio State Newark's Teaching Excellence Award for Lecturers for 2006-2007.
