Trisha A. Pound, LISW-S

Trisha currently works as a clinical supervisor for Equitas Health, formally known as AIDS Resource Center. She supervises medical case managers that serve clients in Licking and seven other rural counties. As well as OSU, she has taught at Capital University, Zane State, and Central Ohio Technical College. She currently volunteers for The L.O.S.S. Team and The YES Club through Mental Health America of Licking County. She received Mental Health Professional of the Year award in fall of 2018 and was also named one of Licking County's top 20 under 40 young leaders by the Newark Advocate. Trisha and a small group of volunteers organized Newark's first pride event in June 2018. After the festival's tremendous success, she formed a board of directors and is now the Executive Director of a new non-profit organization, The Newark Ohio Pride Coalition. She facilitates a monthly support group for LGBTQ+ Youth that takes place at The YES Club.
