Celebrate the Buckeyes and meet President Drake at free Ohio State Newark event
All members of the public, alumni, donors, students and friends of the university are invited to join The Ohio State University President Michael V. Drake, MD, at a free reception at The Ohio State University at Newark on Tuesday, June 18, 6-9 p.m., to celebrate the university’s 150th anniversary. This special evening will include a cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres, comments from President Drake, musical entertainment by the Heisey Wind Ensemble, and a special presentation by Ohio State Newark Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy Michael Stamatikos, PhD. Participants in Ohio State’s 2019 Roads Scholars Tour and Student Life Buckeye Bus will also be visiting Newark for the event, which will be held in the John Gilbert Reese Center, 1209 University Drive, Newark.
