Katheryn M. Lloyd joined The Ohio State University at Newark Board in 2014. Ms. Lloyd is a partner with the law firm of Carpenter Lipps & Leland LLP and has experience in all aspects of commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Lloyd graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University in 1999 and earned her law degree from Duke University School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude in 2002.

Ms. Lloyd is active in the Columbus Bar Association as the Chair of the Federal Court Committee, is a member of the Judicial Screening Committee, and is a past volunteer for the Summer Leader Internship Program, a program designed to give Columbus Public School students exposure to opportunities in the legal profession. She also serves as an adjunct professor in pretrial litigation at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

Ms. Lloyd is originally from Granville, Ohio, where her family operates one of the oldest riding schools in the state. She continues to be active in the horse industry.
