This scholarship is offered to either incoming freshman or returning adult students (out of high school three or more years) from the following Appalachian counties: Coshocton, Guernsey, Muskingum, Perry or Tuscarawas. Other eligibility criteria include demonstration of academic success, financial need as established by federal guidelines, and volunteerism. Scholarship recipients must enroll for at least six credit hours at The Ohio State University at Newark.
