This scholarship was established by the estate of Ruth Scott, associate professor emeritus of psychology, and Dr. Sara Staats, professor emeritus of psychology. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in psychology who demonstrates academic success and financial need with preference given to a student who is starting or returning to college after five or more years out of high school.
