The Alethea E. Sleight Scholarship at The Ohio State University at Newark offers a merit/need-based award to an incoming freshman who is a Newark area resident (first preference) or a Licking County resident. Eligibility is determined based on financial need as established by federal guidelines and on academic success (minimum GPA of 3.5) in high school as well as leadership/involvement in your high school and community. Applicants must plan to be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours) each term at The Ohio State University at Newark during the upcoming academic year.
