Campus visit guidelines

All guests must agree to the campus visit guidelines before registering.

By registering for a campus visit, I agree to follow the guidelines provided below while on any campus of The Ohio State University. I and my guests also understand that because of the current public health emergency, I may be assuming additional risks to my health and safety by choosing to participate in a campus visit.

Everyone is expected to follow safe and healthy personal safety practices.

  1. Face masks are optional in most indoor spaces on all Ohio State campuses, including residence halls, dining facilities, classrooms and offices.
  2. Wash your handsfrequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after touching common surfaces. If soap and water are not available, use 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer. The university has made hand sanitizer widely available across Ohio State’s campuses.
  3. In the past 24–48 hours, if you have experienced symptoms consistent with a viral syndrome such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, vomiting or diarrhea, muscle or body aches, and/or loss of taste or smell, you should not attend your campus tour or come to campus. Please contact admissions to cancel your visit at newark-askabuckeye@osu.edu or 740.366.9344.
  4. Please arrive on time, and no earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
  5. Any behavior that is disrespectful or harmful to other guests or Ohio State personnel is grounds for dismissal from the campus visit.
