Education Curriculum Center (ECC)

The Education Curriculum Center (ECC) in Hopewell Hall 84 is a wonderful hub for education in the community. The ECC primarily serves as the resource center for undergraduate and graduate education students at the Ohio State University at Newark. The materials and services in the curriculum center also are available to area teachers, home-schooling parents, COTC Early Childhood Technology program students and other community members.


ECC Library Collection

The ECC’s collection includes children’s and young adult literature featuring Caldecott, Newberry and Coretta Scott King award winners. The collection has been leveled through the F & P Text Level Gradient© database and includes multiple selections in each level. Curriculum materials, sample textbooks, science kits, social studies kits, math manipulatives, reading manipulatives and educational software are also available to patrons.

ECC Services

The ECC provides services to support classroom operations including lamination, book binding, Ellison die-cuts and bulletin board paper. Pricing information is available in the ECC.
