Faculty Talks: Staging Painting

In this Faculty Talks Outside the Box, Assistant Professor Chris Taylor discusses his most recent series of paintings entitled "Stage," which will be exhibited at the Sean Christopher Gallery in Columbus in the summer of 2024. The 12 abstract, multi-panel pieces in this series challenge our understanding of pictorial space and deconstruct the figure/ground and image/object relationship that defines much of Western painting.
