About this event

Please join the Office of Student Life during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month for Walk for Tomorrow. This is an event to remember those we have lost to suicide. It is also an opportunity to receive education and information about how to help those who might be struggling with their mental health.

The walk is a two-mile loop comprised of several stations along the way, including 132 pinwheels that represent the number of suicides in the United States each day, messages of hope, a suicide education station, a relaxation station, a refreshment station, and a candlelight vigil at the end of the walk.  Signs will be posted along the way outlining the warning signs of suicide as well as bios of those lost to suicide.

This event is free and open to all students, staff and faculty and their friends. Participants receive a water bottle and bandana commemorating the occasion.
