Auditions are open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 4, at 7 p.m. at The Black Box Theater in LeFevre Hall, 1199 University Drive, on the shared campus of Ohio State Newark and Central Ohio Technical College (COTC). Persons interested in a crew position, please email the director immediately for an interview. Be prepared to discuss your interests for this production and provide a short resume of previous stage experience. If students would like to earn credit for being involved in the production, contact the director to enroll now and avoid late fees that would be applicable at audition time.

"Daddy Long Legs is a beautiful two-person musical based on the 1914 epistolary novel of the same name by Jean Webster. I first read it as an adolescent and fell in love with the plucky young orphan who becomes the ward of a mysterious benefactor. When I heard it had been made into a stage show I was very leery at first but traveled to Pittsburg to see it. It was amazing, capturing the characters and the spirit of the book perfectly! I decided then and there to produce it when I could. A small, quiet show, it’s score is simply lovely. A treat for the whole family!" - Edie L. Norlin, Director.

This production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International. For more information, contact Norlin at norlin.123@osu.edu.
