Paul D. Sanders is a professor of music education at the Ohio State University at Newark. He is a member of the editorial committee for the Journal of Historical Research in Music Education, and has previously served as editorial board member and editor for the Kodály Envoy. His publications include Lyrics and Borrowed Tunes of the American Temperance Movement (University of Missouri Press) as editor, 175 Progressive Diatonic Exercises, and 200 Progressive Pentatonic Exercises (Masterworks Press). His most recent articles appear in the Journal of Historical Research in Music Education, American Music, and Social History of Alcohol and Drugs.
