Matthew R. Miller

Matthew R. Miller joined The Ohio State University at Newark Board in 2017. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of Park National Corporation, having previously served as Park’s Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, and earlier as Vice President for Accounting.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Akron and has participated in a number of strategic leadership programs, including the Community Leadership Program of the Licking County Chamber of Commerce, the Bank Leadership Institute of the Ohio Bankers League, and the Center for Creative Leadership.

Mr. Miller is actively involved in community service. Currently, he serves on the Board of the Licking County Chamber of Commerce, the Next Generation Advisory Board of the Ohio Bankers League, the Development Council of Licking Memorial Health Systems, the Development Council of The Works, and serves as President of the Licking County Family YMCA. Previously Mr. Miller served as Campaign Chair of the United Way of Licking County (2015-2016) and served on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Licking and Perry Counties (2009-2015). He is a member of Rotary International, Newark Chapter, and serves as Finance Chair of the Centenary United Methodist Church.
