K-12 Reading Endorsement

The Reading Endorsement is a graduate-level program for teachers wanting to specialize in reading instruction. The Reading Endorsement is professional development program that teachers may pursue to be considered "highly qualified" teachers of reading for grades K-12. Students seeking the endorsement are required by state mandate to hold a standard Ohio teaching certificate or license.

P-6 Mathematics Specialist Endorsement

The P-6 Mathematics Specialist Endorsement is a graduate-level program for teachers wanting to specialize in mathematics education. Candidates must have at least three years of successful experience teaching mathematics under a standard teaching certificate or license. The P-6 Mathematics Specialist Endorsement is professional development that credentials teachers with an expertise in mathematics education to support them in improved instruction, professional development or curriculum work, or other leadership positions. It is also a credential that teachers may pursue to be considered "highly qualified" teachers of math education for grades P-6. Students seeking the endorsement are required by state mandate to hold a standard Ohio teaching certificate or license.

Early Childhood Generalist (4-5)

Announcing a four course online sequence that will meet the requirements for the 4th/5th grade endorsement in the State of Ohio. This endorsement is added to an early childhood license (pre-K to grade 3). These courses are also open to all graduate students.

Middle Childhood Generalist Endorsement

The Middle Childhood Generalist Endorsement allows candidates who are licensed to teach two subject areas in grades 4-9 to add a licensure to teach all subject areas in grades 4-6 only. The addition of the Middle Childhood Generalist Endorsement to a Middle Childhood license provides teachers with additional teaching options, and facilitates the mobility of teachers into Ohio from other states. This endorsement cannot be added to any other teaching license.
