Todd Ware joined The Ohio State University at Newark Board in 2016. Mr. Ware has served as President and CEO of The Energy Cooperative since January of 2012. He began his career with NGO Development, a subsidiary of National Gas & Oil (NGO). In 1998, Licking Rural Electric acquired NGO and its subsidiaries and began doing business as The Energy Cooperative. Mr. Ware became the Chief Financial Officer of The Energy Cooperative in 2001.

Mr. Ware serves as a board member of the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC), representing a four-state area; a board member of Buckeye Power, Incorporated; and serves on the American Gas Association's Leadership Council and Small Company Committee. He is a past president of the Licking County United Way, a member of the Newark Rotary Club, and serves on the Genesis Healthcare Foundation Board in Zanesville. Mr. Ware actively participates in various community volunteer projects; including the United Way Day of Caring, Mid-Ohio Habitat for Humanity, and the Licking Memorial Hospital Golf Gala.

Mr. Ware graduated from The Ohio State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
