Robert A. Barnes Academic Excellence Award
The Robert A. Barnes Academic Excellence Award is presented each year to an outstanding senior at Ohio State who is completing their undergraduate degree requirements on the Newark campus and has a distinguished record of both academic achievement and leadership.
This year's recipient is Isabella Justice, a psychology major.
John Mount Academic Excellence Award
The John Mount Academic Excellence Award is presented each year to an outstanding graduating student who began their baccalaureate studies at the Newark campus and is completing their coursework at the Columbus campus. Eligible students have a 3.5 GPA, completed at least 45 credit hours at the Newark campus, and been active in academic enrichment activities such as Honors, research and leadership and service.
This year's recipient is Mya Lepley, a biology major.
Dean's Award
Students with a GPA of 3.8 or higher are invited to apply for the Dean’s Award. In addition to academic excellence, recipients of the Dean’s Award demonstrate consistent engagement and leadership in the academic and cultural life of the campus. This year’s recipients are:
