KeepLearning (University COVID-19 Resource Site)
KeepLearning.osu.edu is a website the university created to help during the COVID-19 emergency. Students will be able to find the following resources to assist them:
- Internet access resources and special offers
- Tips for online learning
- Other help resources
Campus Corner: Student Food Pantry
The Ohio State University at Newark will implement modified campus operations beginning Monday, March 23, and continue indefinitely. Both institutions will remain open for business remotely – all campus buildings will be closed to the public and no in-person services will be available. This includes the student food pantry.
Students may call the Food Pantry Network of Licking County to be connected to local pantries in their area, 740-344-7401.

What is an emergency grant?
An emergency grant allows for students with unusual and unexpected temporary emergencies to apply for financial assistance. Examples include: car repairs, rent and utilities. An emergency grant cannot be used for tuition or textbooks. An emergency grant does not have to be repaid.
Who is eligible for an emergency grant?
Emergency grants are available to students who are currently enrolled at Ohio State Newark for at least six credit hours with a $0 balance owed for the current term. Grants are only available during the term the student is enrolled as a Newark campus student; emergency grants are not offered during breaks.
How do I apply for an emergency grant?
The Newark Emergency Grant Application is available online here. Applicants must clearly explain the emergency and why they are unable to provide their own funds. Documentation of the expense (i.e., estimate of car repair, utility shut-off notice, eviction notice, etc.) must be provided with the application. Please email the application to the Office of Financial Aid or the Office of Retention and Student Success Initiatives. If you have additional questions, you may also contact one of these offices.
