Please keep in mind that standardized test scores are not required for admission to Ohio State Newark; however, they are required for scholarship consideration. Test scores should be sent from the testing agency to the Undergraduate Admissions Office in Columbus.
Submitting high school transcripts when applying is optional for most applicants (students will need to submit their final transcript after receiving an admissions decision). However, if students are interested in being considered for merit scholarships, school counselors can send transcripts during the application process. Official high school transcripts should be sent to the Ohio State Undergraduate Admissions Office in Columbus, and the preference is to send transcripts electronically to ugdocs@osu.edu. The Ohio State Newark campus cannot accept any transcripts.
It is important that students are reminded to activate their Buckeye email account. After acceptance, the University uses the Ohio State email account to communicate with students and Financial Aid will only respond to students via their Buckeye email account. Information regarding orientation, placement testing and much more is sent to this account. See "admitted students" below for more information.
