Talya Greathouse, MD - Chair
Initial Appointment – 3 years (July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2020) Dr. Talya Greathouse joined The Ohio State University at Newark Board in 2017. She is a Board Certified Family Physician and serves as Chief of Staff of Licking Memorial Hospital and Vice Chair of the Executive Committee. She is a member of the Caduceus Society. Dr. Greathouse holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The Ohio State University and the Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She was recognized as the Licking County Family Physician of the Year in 2012 and was nominated as the Central Ohio Academy of Family Physician’s Family Physician of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. She is a member of Rotary International, Newark Chapter and serves as the Chair of the Special Needs Committee. Dr. Greathouse is active in the Rotary’s Special Olympics service project and is a Paul Harris Fellow. She is also engaged in community service and volunteers with O.P.T.S. (Our Purpose to Serve) in Columbus, Ohio; and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. |

Alexa Robinson-O’Neill - Vice ChairInitial Appointment – 3 years (July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2022)Reappointment – 3 years (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2025)
Alexa M. Robinson–O’Neill joins The Ohio State University at Newark Board as the 2019 academic year begins. Ms. Robinson–O’Neill is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in private practice. In addition to her offices in Worthington and Granville, she is a staff dietitian with a medically–supervised weight loss clinic in Columbus. Ms. Robinson–O’Neill earned degrees in Medical Dietetics from The Ohio State University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, College of Medicine, and in English, also from The Ohio State University. She serves on the State of Ohio Advisory Board for the National Strength and Conditioning Association, was a member of the State Board of Education’s writing team for K-12 physical education standards, and volunteers at The Center for Family Safety and Healing. |

Jeff CoxInitial Appointment – 3 years (July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2023)
Jeff Cox joins The Ohio State University at Newark Advisory Board as the 2020-2021 academic year began. Mr. Cox has worked in Licking County as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones since 1987. |

Medha Deoras-Sutliff
Initial Appointment – 3 years (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2024) She brings extensive knowledge on board governance and financial management to this role and provides forward momentum on research and education projects the Foundation’s Board of Directors seeks to implement. Previously, Medha was a senior staff member at the National Breast Cancer Coalition as Director of Scientific Affairs. She oversaw all science and education programs and supported the organization’s legislative and public policy priorities. She began her career in public health as a Disease Surveillance Epidemiologist with the Ohio Department of Health. She then joined the Licking County Health Department as coordinator of a Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Columbus, SASS for Breast Cancer screening and survivor support grant program. Medha holds an MS in Preventive Medicine from The Ohio State University and BS in Biology from Knox College. She serves as a Board Trustee with the Public Health Partnership of Licking County and a Board Member of the non-profit Granville Tennis Club. She is also a parent representative on the Granville Schools COVID-19 Task Force. Medha and her husband Gary, a physician with Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, settled near Granville 20 years ago and have raised four children in Licking County. |

Lee HeckmanInitial Appointment – 3 years (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2024) Lee Heckman is a partner in the Newark law firm of Reese Pyle Meyer PLL. Mr. Heckman practices extensively in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, and Real Estate. He also advises financial institutions, small businesses, private foundations and public charities. Mr. Heckman earned his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Miami University. While in law school, Mr. Heckman served as a managing editor for the Ohio State Law Journal and represented the law school as a member of the National moot court team. Prior to law school, Mr. Heckman taught history and coached baseball at Granville High School. Mr. Heckman lives in Granville and enjoys spending time with his wife, Sally, and their three children. |

Tara Houdeshell
Initial Appointment – 3 years (July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2022) Tara Houdeshell joined The Ohio State University at Newark Board in 2019. Tara is the Executive Director of A Call to College, a nonprofit college access organization serving 3,500 Newark City Schools students and families annually. Tara joined the organization in 2014 and was promoted to Executive Director in 2018. In addition to leading a staff and volunteer advisor corps of more than twenty-five, managing the organization’s budget and participating in direct programming at the elementary, middle and high school levels, Tara also serves on The Ohio State University Newark’s Enrollment Advisory Board and is the President of the Lakewood Local School District Board of Education. Previously she held leadership positions in college access, admissions and advising at Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and Muskingum University. |

Katheryn M. Lloyd
Initial Appointment – 1 year (July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015)
Katheryn M. Lloyd joined The Ohio State University at Newark Board in 2014. Ms. Lloyd is a partner with the law firm of Carpenter Lipps & Leland LLP and has experience in all aspects of commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Lloyd graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University in 1999 and earned her law degree from Duke University School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude in 2002.

Matthew R. Miller
Initial Appointment – 3 years (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2020) Matthew R. Miller joined The Ohio State University at Newark Board in 2017. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of Park National Corporation, having previously served as Park’s Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, and earlier as Vice President for Accounting. |

Todd Ware
Initial Appointment – 3 years (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2019) Todd Ware joined The Ohio State University at Newark Board in 2016. Mr. Ware has served as President and CEO of The Energy Cooperative since January of 2012. He began his career with NGO Development, a subsidiary of National Gas & Oil (NGO). In 1998, Licking Rural Electric acquired NGO and its subsidiaries and began doing business as The Energy Cooperative. Mr. Ware became the Chief Financial Officer ot The Energy Cooperative in 2001. Mr. Ware serves as a board member of the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC), representing a four-state area; a board member of Buckeye Power, Incorporated; and serves on the American Gas Association's Leadership Council and Small Company Committee. He is a past president of the Licking County United Way, a member of the Newark Rotary Club, and serves on the Genesis Healthcare Foundation Board in Zanesville. Mr. Ware actively participates in various community volunteer projects; including the United Way Day of Caring, Mid-Ohio Habitat for Humanity, and the Licking Memorial Hospital Golf Gala. Mr. Ware graduated from The Ohio State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. |

Katherine Stuart - Student Representative
Appointment – 1 year (July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022) Katherine Stuart will be serving as the Student Representative for the board and is a third-year psychology major at The Oho State University at Newark. She is aiming to graduate in Spring 2023. Her favorite field of psychological study is social psychology. Along with earning her doctorate, her long-term goal is to focus and work on humanitarian issues. Whether on campus or in the local area, Katherine is incredibly passionate about serving her community. If you see her on campus, feel free to stop her and say hi! She loves to meet new people and talk about their lives and interests. |
