Academic Peer Coach
Mentor students in one of our learning communities, which supports new college students as they transition from high school to college and throughout their first year.
Are you returning to Newark next year and interested in working on campus?
Do you have experience and the strengths to be a peer mentor?
Do you want to work in a dynamic and flexible environment?
If so, then you should consider applying for a position as an academic peer coach and student assistant in the Office of Retention and Student Success Initiatives.
Academic peer coach positions are incredibly visible student employment positions on campus and afford students many great benefits beyond just receiving a paycheck.
Details of each position and eligibility requirements will be available soon for the 2026-27 school year. If you are interested in applying or have questions, contact nwk-rentention@osu.edu.
