Academic Peer Coach
Mentor students in one of our learning communities, which supports new college students as they transition from high school to college and throughout their first year.
Are you returning to Newark next year and interested in working on campus?
Do you have experience and the strengths to be a peer mentor?
Do you want to work in a dynamic and flexible environment?
If so, then you should consider applying for a position as an academic peer coach and student assistant in the Office of Retention and Student Success Initiatives.
Academic peer coach positions are incredibly visible student employment positions on campus and afford students many great benefits beyond just receiving a paycheck.
Qualifications for all academic peer coach positions require a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, at least 2 completed college semesters, and must be willing to work 12-15 hours for both autumn and spring semesters. Please see additional qualifications under the respective links for each position below.
