Ohio State Newark Marketing Office Wins National Advertising Awards
NEWARK, OH, March 20, 2018—The Ohio State University at Newark Office of Marketing and Public Relations won two awards in the 33rd Annual Educational Advertising Awards. Ohio State Newark earned a gold award in the annual report category for its progress report and a silver award in the poster category for its viewbook poster. The theme for this year’s progress report was impact and growth on the Newark campus. Senior Graphic Designer Leslie Lenzo, a Granville resident, created the award-winning designs for both projects. Lenzo has worked at Ohio State Newark for 17 years. Pataskala resident René White, assistant director of marketing and public relations, wrote and edited both projects with assistance from Cheri Russo, former director of marketing and public relations and a Lancaster resident.
“We are extremely proud of the great work of our marketing and public relations office,” said Ohio State Newark Dean/Director William L. MacDonald. “It’s wonderful to have their professionalism and high- quality work recognized at the national level.”
