On Friday, the Court attends a coronation ceremony and Homecoming parade. Saturday, they attend a toast with university leadership prior to the Ohio State football Homecoming game.

Walk for Tomorrow suicide prevention walk

About this event

Every day, 132 people die by suicide in the United States. Learn about the warning signs of suicide and how to help. Stations throughout the walk provide education, stories from survivors, messages of hope and a pledge to #BeThe1To help a friend in need.

Complimentary water bottles and other giveaways will be available for attendees. The two-mile walk features multiple stations and ends with the #BeThe1To Pledge.

About this event

We’re making history, and you’re invited!

Join us as we unveil the world’s first statue honoring Civil Rights legend Ella Baker. We’re honoring this underappreciated hero in American history with a special event.

  • Listen to a panel discussion between Ohio State scholars and one of Baker’s fellow Civil Rights activists.
  • View a short film capturing the artist’s creative process. 
  • Meet the artist, Dana King. 

Be there as we reveal this one-of-a-kind artwork and celebrate one of the most influential women in the Civil Rights movement.

This event is open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. Heavy appetizers and desserts will be served during the reception.
