About this event

In collaboration with our generous community sponsors, the Gilbert Reese Family Foundation, Central Ohio Technical College, and The Ohio State University at Newark warmly welcome you to the annual Independence Day Concert and Fireworks celebration! 

Prepare for an evening filled with music, entertainment, and delicious food. This year we have over 20 local vendors and food trucks stationed around campus, offering a mouthwatering array of food, treats, and beverages.

After you grab a treat, settle into your lawn chairs or spread out your blankets on the lawn in front of the Martha Grace Reese Amphitheatre and enjoy live music by talented local musicians. The entertainment lineup includes the Licking County 4-H Band, The Sticks & Stones, and the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra. 

After the sunlight fades, an awe-inspiring fireworks display will illuminate the night sky, accompanied by live patriotic music.
